Extreme sports are loved by people all over the world. They are not only refreshing but also instill a feeling of thrill and excitement in you. Extreme sports have been enjoyed by people since ages and have become very popular among the youth of today. These sports make your adrenaline rush and take your mind to the extreme levels of excitement and happiness.
Let me tell you about them in detail:
Ice Climbing
Ice climbing, as the name suggests, is the activity of mounting inclined ice formations. Usually, ice climbing refers to roped and protected climbing of features such as icefalls, frozen waterfalls, and cliffs and rock slabs covered with ice refrozen from flows of water. Rock and ice climbers and mountaineers often belong to Clubs, some of which were started in the very early days of the sport. Clubs are often responsible for the publication of Climbing Guides.
Paragliding
Closely related to hang gliding, paragliding is another flying sport. The design of the aircraft and the way of flying are similar to those observed in hang gliding. Paragliders have no solid support. They are foot-launched aircrafts. Hence turbulent weather imposes a great amount of risk on the sportsperson.
Wakeboarding
Although it was not a very popular sport few years back, but is now admired by people all over the world. Wakeboarding is a surface water sport which involves riding a wakeboard over the surface of a body of water behind a boat or Cable System. Wakeboarding can be performed on a variety of media including closed-course cables, winches, PWCs and ATVs.
Skydiving
Skydiving is adored by people all over the world and has gained huge popularity because it is highly thrilling and exciting. In this sport a person jumps from enough height so that he/she can deploy a fabric parachute and jump safely. Sport Parachuting is performed as a recreational activity and a competitive sport, as well as for the deployment of military personnel airborne forces and occasionally forest firefighters.
