MIAMI?? A tropical storm watch has been issued for Bermuda as Tropical Storm Maria crawls up the Atlantic.
The storm is also bringing heavy rainfall Tuesday to Puerto Rico.
Maria has maximum sustained winds near 50 mph (85 kph) with some strengthening forecast during the next two days.
Maria is centered about 320 miles (520 kilometers) east of the southeastern Bahamas and is moving north-northwest near 5 mph (7 kph). The U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami says Maria is expected to pass west of Bermuda on Thursday.
Maria's forecast track shows it curving away from the U.S.
