Bethenny Frankel Responds to Ex-Manager's $100 Million Lawsuit: 'I Am Not Going to Be Bullied'

Reality TV star turned alcoholic beverage mogul Bethenny Frankel is responding to the $100 million lawsuit filed Wednesday by a Hollywood management company that claims it helped broker the deal that made Frankel rich.

"Unfortunately, one of the signs of success is being the subject of frivolous lawsuits, like this one," Frankel says in a statement to THR. "This is simply someone with his hand out, who did nothing to earn it, and I am not going to be bullied."

We broke the news yesterday that Frankel's one-time managers at Raw Talent sued her for a 10% cut of the reported $120 million she made selling the Skinnygirl cocktail brand in March, plus $100 million in punitive damages.

Raw co-president Doug Wald claims he arranged for the Real Housewives of New York star to sign with her agents at APA and hook up with liquor industry veteran David Kanbar to buy the Skinnygirl brand and use Frankel's celebrity to up its value. Wald claims he was fired just before Frankel started in the liquor business and is now entitled to his share of the proceeds of the sale of the company, which outlets including The Hollywood Reporter have pegged as $120 million.

Will Frankel countersue?

"We are exploring all of our options, including filing counterclaims against these people," she says.
